Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my new eyebrows take to heal?
Most of my clients will be visibly healed about 10 days after the treatment, however you should not perform any other skin treatments for a minimum of 3 weeks.
How long they will last?
The fading process is a little different for everyone and depends on the application process used as well as your lifestyle and how well you look after your cosmetic tattooing. You can expect it to last anywhere from 8 – 12 months.
Will I need a touch-up?
Maybe. Maybe not. Many artists include a touch-up fee in their pricing, however I do not, as not everyone will need a touch up. This saves you some money and unnecessary skin trauma.
Are nano-brows better than microblading?
Nano-brows are applied in a method that is less traumatic to the skin than Microblading. The healed result will be more refined and will last longer than microblading. Microblading is only suited to younger and dry skin types, but nano-brows are suitable for all skin types, and ages.
How permanent is semi-permanent?
There may (not always) be a small portion of pigment that will not disappear on it’s own. It may look a little like a ‘ghost’ of the original tattoo. If it has been applied too deeply it will be less likely to fade – I see many clients for eyebrow revision with permanent makeup from other artists, that has been applied too deeply. Usually from previous microblading.
Is it possible to remove cosmetic tattooing?
Yes! There are several options to remove your unwanted cosmetic tattooing, although it must be done separately to applying any new work. Often it is best to remove the old tattoo before applying any more pigment to the area. A clean canvas is best!
Do all eyebrow corrections need removal first?
Not always. Sometimes it is possible to colour correct what is there, or modify the existing shape. If the skin is already very full with pigment there may not be room to add any more.

Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?
It is a form of tattooing so there is some level of pain to be expected. I do apply a numbing ointment to the area before I begin so there should be minimal amount of pain. While some of my clients have fallen asleep during the treatment, some are still able to feel a little pain.
